Leaning into kids having fun! 

This post is about what to expect when having a family photo session. 

The first section of photos will be the classic family portrait. But after that, it is game time! Here are 3 games we might play at your photography session. 

1. Red Light Green Light

When there are multiple siblings at the session, I choose this game because kids love to run and play. You can see in the images they also like to look at each other and laugh. 

The parents can stand in the background and watch their kids playing the game. 

2. Swing!

Each kid can swing like a monkey. This one captures a smile every time. I like each kid getting a turn so they will all feel included. 

3. Ring Around the Parents

Parents will stand in the center and kids will run around them. It's really about capturing joy in the chaos.
