This family celebration was one for the books! In fact, the family is making a photo album to remember this special day.
Grandma is special to so many people and there were many stories to tell.
With all the planning, I made sure to capture the cake, tables, decor, and those special candid moments. A memorable moment was Grandma showing her quilts she made over the years.
For the candid, I tried to get creative with the camera angles. Inside the venue, I used an off-camera flash.

We placed Maxine at the center of the family photos. Her children made sure she had a comfortable chair to sit in for photographs. Once Grandma was comfortable, we placed the rest of the family around her.
